Poster Designs for B.A.S.S. Nation Eastern Regional, 2017.
I wanted to use this opportunity to broaden my normal design process. Instead of only digitally creating these posters, I incorporated patterns and textures that I hand created. I used fishing lures as my inspiration. I began by dipping numerous lures into paint and dragging them across a giant white scroll of paper with a fishing rod. I scanned the impressions and made them into bitmaps to incorporate into the backgrounds of the posters. This was a chance for me to combine my love for painting, fishing, and design into one project. Any chance I get to be hands on and push the elements of design I do. Graphic design goes so much further than just the digital world.
